About

The Chickasaw Nation Native Explorer Program is an innovative, hands-on, professional mentor-led education program.

Designed to recruit, train and educate young people in a variety of sciences, one goal of the Native Explorers program is to increase the number of Chickasaw students that pursue degrees in science and medicine.

You Provide
  • Native Explorers participant application (form NEP)
  • Copy of Chickasaw citizenship card or certificate
  • OSU Native Explorers Application (college-age only)
Eligibility: Ages 6-18
  • Chickasaw citizen
  • Must reside in Ada or Ardmore area
Eligibility: College-Age
  • Chickasaw citizens preference

All college applicants must complete the Chickasaw Nation Native Explorers application as well as the application for OSU. 

College applicant must also submit all required documentation requested by both applications.
