About

Healthy Lifestyles is a residential substance abuse program that serves Native American adults. Based on the disease concept of substance abuse, the program is focused on the holistic approach to care, and also addresses co-occurring disorders. Each individual receives an assessment and an individualized treatment plan. The 12-step philosophy is utilized along with our curriculum that includes individual counseling, family counseling, group therapy, experiential therapy, alcohol and drug education, nutrition education, wellness, HIV/AIDS education, fetal alcohol and child abuse, domestic violence, and tobacco cessation education. GED classes are provided upon request to residents.

Our treatment staff includes licensed mental health professionals and certified alcohol and drug counselors. The program is certified by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

Our program is a commercial tobacco free environment.

Applicants facing legal issues must have a written referral from his/her Parole Officer or Drug Court Counselor.

The Chickasaw Nation Division of Health offers a variety of programs and services at several convenient locations throughout our 13-county jurisdiction. The Chickasaw Nation Medical Center (CNMC) is located in Ada, Oklahoma and outlying clinics are located in Ardmore, Durant, Purcell and Tishomingo.
