The Chickasha Holitoplichi (Honors Program) rewards students striving to complete continuing education goals and academic success. This program is available for Chickasaw college students beginning their sophomore year through professional school. The program includes classification change incentives, degree completion incentives and the opportunity to receive graduation stoles. 

Incentive Classification Change

A Classification Change Incentive is available to Chickasaw students beginning in their sophomore year in college. As a student progresses through college and completes a classification with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, he or she is eligible to receive $500 at the end of the term.

• Copy of upcoming class schedule

• Required 3.0 or higher GPA
• Must be a part-time or full-time student

Fall semester: September 1
Spring semester: February 1
Summer semester: June 15

Incentive Degree Completion

A Degree Completion Incentive is available to Chickasaw students upon completion of a bachelor’s degree or higher. Eligible students receive $1,000 as a reward for reaching their higher education goal.

• Final offical college transcript

• Required 2.0 or higher GPA
• Must complete degree program

No later than six months after degree is completed

Graduation Stoles

Graduation stoles to be worn during graduation commencement ceremonies are available for Chickasaw students graduating with a bachelor’s degree or higher. Students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher are eligible to apply.

• Official college transcript

• o GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Beginning of final semester of college

The application must be submitted at the beginning of the student’s last semester.
