Michelle Wilson – VR Director
Michelle has been employed with the Chickasaw Nation since 1999. She received her master's degree in human resources with a concentration in vocational rehabilitation from East Central University and is currently working towards her doctorate degree in vocational rehabilitation. She enjoys gardening, cooking, reading and photography. Michelle and husband, Justin, have two children.
Jim Ingram – Quality Assurance Coordinator
Jim began working for the Chickasaw Nation in 2008. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He enjoys playing golf. Jim is married and has three children.
Nick Buckley - VR Counselor
Nick began working as a counselor for vocational rehabilitation in 2009. Nick received his bachelor’s degree from East Central University in Human Resources with a concentration in vocational rehabilitation and is currently working toward a master’s degree in the vocational rehabilitation field.  He enjoys reading, playing bass and running.

Gwen Carney – Receptionist
Gwen began working for vocational rehabilitation in 2009. Gwen is currently working on a bachelor’s degree at East Central University in the vocational rehabilitation field. She enjoys watching and playing basketball, watching college football, sewing, photography and decorating. Gwen has three children.

Justin Thomas – VR Counselor in Training
Justin began working for the tribe in 2005. He is pursuing an associate’s degree in psychology from Murray State College. Justin enjoys the University of Oklahoma sporting events.
Jason Burns – VR Counselor II
Jason began working for the Chickasaw Nation in 2005. He has a master’s degree in counseling with an emphasis in rehabilitation. Jason enjoys watching movies and comedy clubs.
Tracey Vasquez - Counselor
Tracey began working for the tribe in 2001. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in human resource administration. She is currently working toward a second master’s degree in the field of vocational rehabilitation. She enjoys playing tennis, walking, sewing and traveling. Tracey is married and has five children.
Tony Gibson - VR Counselor
Tony began working for the Chickasaw Nation in 2004. He has a bachelor’s degree and enjoys farm animals and horticulture.
Bert Lynch – Quality Assurance Specialist
Bert began working for the Chickasaw Nation in 2002. She has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in education. She enjoys riding horses, swimming, walking and reading. Bert is married and has three children and four grandchildren.
Joe Stick - Transition Specialist
Joe was born at Kullihoma Reservation,  began working for the Chickasaw Nation in February 2009 in the Education Division Office of Supportive Programs. He has a Master’s in school counseling, a Master’s in school administration and  has  provisional school Superintendent’s certification. Joe has three sons and  four grand daughters. He enjoys family and fishing.
Amanda James - VR Counselor
Amanda recently graduated from East Central University with a Bachelor’s degree in English Education. Amanda is currently working toward a master’s degree in the vocational rehabilitation field. She enjoys reading and writing, and is a published poet. Her other interests include classic cars, music, and collecting antiques.

Kara Payne - VR Counselor
Kara Payne has worked with the Chickasaw Nation since 2007. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from East Central University and plans to work toward her master’s degree in the vocational rehabilitation field. Kara is the wife of Dillon Payne and mother to a wonderful and lively boy named Kaydon Payne. Kara is active in her church and community. Kara’s hobbies include spending time with her family, caring for her dogs, floral design and learning new things.
