About
The Chickasaw Nation grants and scholarships for higher education are available to full-time and part-time undergraduate, graduate or doctoral college students. Students must be Chickasaw and possess a Chickasaw Nation citizenship card.
The grants and scholarships are intended to assist students by providing funding for tuition, fees, and books for those students pursuing a degree from an accredited institution of higher education. The field of study is not limited to a particular discipline. The primary objective of the grants and scholarships is to provide financial assistance in a manner that will increase the number of Chickasaw citizens attending college. Students applying for funding may attend any accredited college in the United States. Accredited comprehensive universities, regional universities, two-year colleges, private institutions and online universities are acceptable.
Award notification is given once all paperwork has been completed and returned before deadline. Deadlines are stated on the applications.
