Chickasaw Nation Celebrates the Season with Holiday Movies at CCC, McSwain

Classic holiday movies, yuletide refreshments and visits with Santa were also offered at the Sulphur facility. Both the cultural center and the McSwain Theatre, in Ada, are showcasing holiday movies throughout Decemeber.</P>
More than 700 people enjoyed Christmas films, Chickasaw culture and holiday refreshments Saturday, Dec. 11 at the Chickasaw Cultural Center in Sulphur, Okla.

Ada Students Find Inspiration, Explore Oklahoma History During "Pearl" Screening Chickasaw Nation’s "Pearl" now available on DVD
Ada Junior High students Hunter Ross, left, and Avery Stevens were two of dozens of local students who learned about Pearl Carter Scott, a Chickasaw who was the youngest license pilot in U.S. History, during a screening of the movie Pearl at the McSwain Theatre last week.
"Pearl", the true story of a young Chickasaw aviator, recently inspired' entertained and educated several Ada Public School students.
