Jae L. and Crossover and Guests to Appear at McSwain Saturday

Jae L. Stilwell and Crossover and special musical guests from throughout Oklahoma will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20 at the historic McSwain Theatre in downtown Ada, Okla.
Special guests including Carlee Eaton, Steve McDaniel, Donna Marie and Haley Miller, all of Ada; Laura Mae Tatum, Edmond, Okla.; Patrick Thompson, Newcastle, Okla., and Gary McCarter, Tishomingo, Okla., will join Jae L. and Crossover for a full night of musical entertainment.
Stilwell, a mainstay at the McSwain for almost two decades, will be joined by talented Crossover band members Jody Teeter, Debbie Allen, Ronnie Magar, Wayne Morton, Greg Griffin, Gary Bryan, Mike Price and Tara Scott.
The members of Crossover have decades of combined experience performing at numerous venues and with artists who run the gamut of the musical spectrum.
Crossover covers a vast collection of songs from various eras and offers something for all ages.
Ada-native Stilwell and her cousin Debbie Allen have made numerous appearances on television, radio and the live stage. In the early years, and Jae L. and Debbie won a number of awards, including Duet of the Year and Group of the Year. A veteran to the music scene, Jae L. has performed with many country music legends.
Stilwell is also the manager of the McSwain Theatre.
Jody Teeter, Lindsay, Okla., band leader and bass guitar, was a part of the original McSwain Musical Theatre band. He has now returned to the McSwain as a member of Crossover. He has also accompanied a variety of music performers.
Tara Scott, Duncan, Okla., developed a love of music and harmony at an early age. She has been a regular cast member and backup vocalist at several venues such as The Wichita Theater, the Oklahoma Opry and The Rodeo Opry. She began performing at the McSwain Theater in 2009 and joined the band in 2010.
On lead guitar, Ronnie Magar, Ada, Okla., has played with artists such as Hoyt Axton, Michael Martin Murphy, Pake McEntire and Blake Shelton. Ronnie was also a member of the Sundowners Band.
Wayne Morton, Tishomingo, Okla., a steel guitar player, has entertained audiences for more than 30 years. He is an original member of the McSwain Musical Theatre.
Keyboard player Mike Price, Edmond, Okla., has played piano in the house band of the Oklahoma Opry, with the variety band "Sailor". He has also played at Maker's Piano Bar in Bricktown and is currently the pianist in the house band at the Centennial Rodeo Opry, a country music show in the historic Stockyards City in Oklahoma City. He joined Jae L and Crossover in 2009.
Greg Griffin, of Stratford, Okla., has been playing guitar since childhood. He has performed a wide range of music including rhythm & blues, jazz, rock, gospel and country. Griffin has performed with the Jeff Sibble Band and the McSwain Theatre Band.
Drummer Gary Bryan, of Statford, Okla., began performing in junior high and later became a member of the Sundowners Band, where he played shows across Oklahoma and Texas for nearly 20 years. Bryan has been a member of the McSwingers and was part of the house band for the Rodeo Opry in Oklahoma City.
The evening promises to feature a wide variety of country and classic hits, along with entertaining numbers performed by talented local artists. Tickets, on sale now, are $15 for adults, senior citizens' $13 and children 12 and under are $10.
