ADA – The Chickasaw Foundation is sponsoring a t-shirt and flyer design contest for the 2007 Cultural Evening, which will be held at Kullihoma Oct. 2.
The Cultural Evening, in its sixth year, gives Chickasaws an opportunity to share Chickasaw culture with each other and with others. Each year, more than 1,200 people attend the Cultural Evening.
The winning t-shirt design entry will be the featured design on the Cultural Evening t-shirts, and the winning flyer design will be used to promote the annual event.
Prize money will be awarded for first place, $100, second place, $75, and third place, $50.
Entries must be on 8 ½ x 11 unlined paper and in black ink or marker. All entries must be of Native American origin and feature items related to Chickasaw culture. Details must be kept to a minimum for print quality. Entry deadline is Friday, June 29 at 5 p.m.
