Chickasaw Holiday Fun Day

The Chickasaw language club Chepota Chikasha Anumpoli (children speaking Chickasaw) has recently changed its name to Chipota Chikashshanompoli, also meaning children speaking Chickasaw. The language club is now available for three to 12 year olds.
 
The next language club meeting is Chickasaw Holiday Fun Day on Saturday, October 18 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the East Central University Ballroom in Ada.
 
Children will learn new Chickasaw words related to the upcoming holidays and participate in exciting activities. Meetings focus on learning and using the Chickasaw language in daily life. Club meetings are held one Saturday each month and are open to all children ages three to 12 who are interested in learning Chickasaw language.
