Chickasaw Nation announces Summer Food Program at local camps

The Chickasaw Nation Nutrition Services Department, is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children, ages 18 and younger, without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
 
Camp Survivor, Highway 77 and Sooner Road, Davis, Okla.
May 31 - June 3
Breakfast 8 - 8:30 a.m.
Lunch noon - 12:30 p.m.
Supper 5 - 5:30 p.m.
 
Chickasaw Foundation Upward Bound, S. Byrd and E. Wilson, Tishomingo, Okla.
May 31 - July 28
Breakfast 8 - 8:30 a.m.
Lunch noon - 12:30 p.m.
Supper 5 - 5:30 p.m.
Upward bound will begin with breakfast on May 31 and serve meals from supper on Sunday through lunch on Friday each week except for the week of July 4. For that week only, meal service will begin with breakfast on Tuesday through lunch on Friday.

To be eligible to receive free meals at a residential or nonresidential camp, children must meet the income guidelines for reduced-price meals in the National School Lunch Program [NSLP]. The income guidelines for reduced-price meals by family size are listed below.) Children who are part of households that receive food stamps or benefits under the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) or an AFDS assistance unit are automatically eligible to receive free meals, subject to completion of the free/reduced application form.
