Newborn, Brailee Jean Miller, and her parents, Brandon and Betty Miller
ADA, Okla. – Brailee Jean Miller, daughter of Ada, Okla., residents Brandon and Betty Miller, is the first baby to be born at the new Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in 2011.
The Chickasaw girl was born at 12:16 a.m. on Jan. 1. She weighed 7 pounds, 2.2 ounces and measured 18.5 inches long at birth.
Mrs. Miller said she was "very thankful" to the Medical Center staff for taking care of her and her baby.
"The staff was awesome," the 27-year-old said. "It's nice to know that there are people who care about other people."
Brailee's siblings are McKenzie Alford, 4, and Kaylee Miller, 7.
Maternal grandparents are Anita Howell and David Robertson. Paternal grandparents are Ronnie Miller, Denise and Mike Zimmerman.
