Chickasaw language club to meet Jan. 28

Chipota Chikashshanompoli, the Chickasaw language club, will meet Saturday, Jan. 28.

• 9 – 11 a.m. at Chickasaw Nation Family Life Center, 229 W. Seabrook Road, Ada, Okla.
• 1 – 3 p.m., Carter Seminary Gym, 2400 Chickasaw Blvd., Ardmore, Okla.

The club is open to children, ages three to 13, who are interested in learning more about Chickasaw language and participating in fun monthly activities.

The club focuses on the importance of using the Chickasaw language in daily life. Each month the club meets to practice Chickasaw language and embark on an adventure that will incorporate newly introduced Chickasaw words.
