Registration is now open for the American Indian Education Reform Seminar, which will take place on Monday, May 2 at the Embassy Suites in Norman, Okla. The seminar is being presented by the University of Oklahoma Native American Studies Program.
American Indian educators from tribal governments and public schools will present their experiences, recommendations, and guidance regarding the educational well-being and future of Indian students. Mary J. Oatman, President of the National Indian Education Association will be the keynote speaker for the opening ceremony. The seminar is also an opportunity to network with education professionals.
