Chickasaw Foundation Announces Scholarship Deadline

ADA, Okla. – Twenty-nine Chickasaw Foundation scholarships are now available for the 2006-2007 school year. The application deadline for all scholarships is June 1, 2006.

This year’s available scholarships include:

  •     Computercraft Corporation Scholarship (1)
  •     Ann Eubank Health Scholarship (1)
  •     Janet Shaley James Memorial Scholarship (1)
  •     Edward L. Kruger Memorial Ittish Aaisha Scholarship (1)
  •     Native American Fund Advisors Scholarship (1)
  •     Bank2 Banking Scholarship - In Memory of Mr. Robert Walton (1)
  •     Bank2 Ta-ossaa-asha’ Scholarship (4)
  •     Donald D. Gunning Memorial Scholarship (1)
  •     Chickasaw Foundation General Purpose Education Scholarship (2)
  •     Robert L. Walton Memorial Scholarship (2)
  •     Mary K. Moreland & Daniel T. Jenks Scholarship (1)
  •     Frederick L. Hill – The Hill Group Scholarship (2)
  •     Lillian Fowler Memorial Scholarship (1)
  •     Vinnie May Humes Memorial Scholarship (1)
  •     Wesley D. Brantley, Jr. Scholarship (1)
  •     Judicial Scholarship - Law Student Scholarship (1)
  •     Irene C. Howard Memorial Scholarship (1)
  •     John Bennett Herrington Scholarship (1)
  •     Mitch Musgrove Memorial Scholarship (1)

It is the philosophy of the Chickasaw Foundation to provide educational assistance for students who demonstrate excellence in academics, community service, dedication to Native America and commitment to learning.

All applicants must complete the scholarship application and supply the appropriate documentation. Incomplete applications will not be considered. All scholarship applications must be delivered or postmarked by Thursday, June 1, 2006 to be considered for funding. Scholarship winners will be notified in July.
