"Professionals Fun Day" is the theme for the September meeting of The Chickasaw Nation Chipota Chikashshanompoli (children speaking Chickasaw) language club.
The meeting will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15th at the Chickasaw Nation old gym in Ada, Okla.
Participants will learn about professional positions within the Chickasaw Nation along with words related to work.
Chipota Chikashshanompoli meetings focus on the importance of using the Chickasaw language in daily life.
One Saturday each month the club meets to learn Chickasaw language and embark on a fun adventure that will incorporate newly introduced Chickasaw words.
Club meetings are open to all children ages three to 12 who are interested in learning the Chickasaw language.
