Due to the weather, Chikasha Ittifama's Friday events will be held at the Chickasaw Community Center in Ada.

Saturday's Cornstalk Shooting will be held at the practice field at 2115 N. Broadway in Ada due the weather.
As of this time, all other activities will take place at Kullihoma at their scheduled times.
This month marks the annual gathering of Chickasaws and guests from across the country, Chikasha Ittifama, set for Friday and Saturday May 20-21 at Kullihoma.
Opening ceremonies begin 5 p.m. Friday, followed by a hamburger cook-out, cultural demonstrations and a social dance lasting until 11:30 p.m.
Ongoing cultural demonstrations include cornhusk dolls, beadwork, moccasin making, basket weaving and traditional clothing.
Saturday will be filled traditional reunion activities beginning at 8:30 a.m. that will continue through the evening. These include a youth fishing derby, cornstalk shooting contest, youth and adult archery competitions, blow gun competition, Squirrel Stick throw, loksi races and stickball games.
A traditional meal will be served for Saturday's lunch, including pashofa, fry bread, salt meat and grape dumplings.
Overnight camping spaces are available, including tent spaces and a limited number of RV hook ups.
To reach the site, travel to the Kullihoma sign seven miles northeast of Ada on Highway 1, then travel three miles east and one mile south.
