Join thousands of Chickasaws and friends in historic Tishomingo, Oklahoma for the 21st Annual Chickasaw Festival and the 49th Annual Meeting of the Chickasaw Nation!
With this year's theme of "Our Story Continues," the festival, beginning Saturday, September 26, celebrates the history and culture of the Chickasaw people. Demonstrations, booths, games, events and activities for the whole family take place throughout the week.
The 49th Annual Meeting of the Chickasaw Nation begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 3 on the campus of Murray State College in Tishomingo and will include Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby's State of the Nation address.
Following annual meeting, the festival parade will make its way through downtown Tishomingo beginning at approximately 11:30 a.m. The day will also include a traditional meal served on the Murray State College lawn, the Southeastern Art Show and Market, softball and horseshoe tournaments, Chickasaw White House tours, Band Day Extravaganza, a gospel singing and more.
