Spring semester scholarship and grant applications due February 1

Don't miss your opportunity to receive college funding! The Chickasaw Nation Higher Education spring scholarship and grant application deadline is approaching soon. Completed applications are due to the higher education department February 1.
 
The Chickasaw Nation Higher Education department offers scholarships and grants for full-time and part-time undergraduate, graduate or doctoral Chickasaw students. The scholarships and grants are intended to assist students by providing funding for tuition, fees and books for those students pursuing a degree from an accredited institution of higher education.

The scholarship and grant spring semester application deadline is February 1, the summer semester deadline is June 15 and the fall semester deadline is September 1. Students must submit completed applications by deadline indicated each semester to be considered.

Only completed applications received by the Chickasaw Nation Higher Education department will be reviewed.

Scholarships and grants are available to all Chickasaw students living within or outside Chickasaw Nation boundaries. Students must be Chickasaw and possess a Chickasaw citizenship card. Eligibility requirements vary depending on the type of scholarship or grant.

Scholarship opportunities available through AIGC

The American Indian Graduate Center is offering scholarships and fellowships to qualified American Indian and Alaska native graduate students. Scholarship and fellowship opportunities are available in various programs from medical to fine arts.
 
The AIGC mission is to build, promote and honor self-sustaining American Indian and Alaska Native communities through education and leadership. The graduate center is a national organization headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and provides educational assistance to American Indian and Alaska native graduate students throughout the country.
