Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Chickasaw Cultural Center May 12-13

Bring mom to the Chickasaw Cultural Center, Sulphur, May 12-13 to celebrate Mother’s Day.  All mothers will receive free admission to Chikasha Poya Exhibit Center and free cookies and tea in the Aaimpa’ Café.
A Mother’s Day card workshop will be conducted for children 12 and under, and there will be a special stomp dance demonstration to honor mothers both days. All mothers will also receive a special gift, while supplies last.
Armed Forces Day will be observed at the Chickasaw Cultural Center Saturday, May 19.

Active military and veterans will receive free admission into the Chikasha Poya Exhibit Center and a 10 percent discount in the Aaimpa' Café. At 11 a.m. there will be a Stomp dance demonstration to honor military personnel.
A Memorial Day Celebration will be conducted Saturday, May 26. The day will feature live painting by Chickasaw artists, aStickball demonstration and social game, a Stomp dance, storytelling and a “then and now” exhibit on pottery.


The Chickasaw Cultural Center is open Tuesday-Saturday 10-5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m.
