ADA, Okla. - Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby and the employees of the Chickasaw Nation today saluted the dedicated employees who have given 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service to the Chickasaw Nation.
An Employee Recognition Assembly was conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the newly acquired McSwain Theater in Ada.
"Over the years, we've made a great deal of progress," Gov. Anoatubby said. "I remember when we had one building and 30 employees. This kind of growth takes years of hard work, dedication and people with the right mind set to get the job done.
"You have served with honor those we are responsible to: the Chickasaw people," Gov. Anoatubby said. "We are here today to thank you for your hard work and service."
Employees who have given 25 years of dedication to the Chickasaw Nation received a Pendleton blanket with their name and years of service embroidered. Honored were Lynn Worcester, Mildred Agan, Donald Gibson and Tom Cooper.
For 20 years of service, employees received a gold watch with an inset diamond. They are Wayne Scribner, Steven Dunnigan, Carns Porter, Diana Faulkner, Haskell Alexander, Dora Hamilton, Marvin Holden, Jeannie Lunsford and May Hamilton. Two employees who were not able to attend last year's ceremony, accepted their service awards for the previous year. They are Saundra Seeley and Gladys Johnson.
Dedicating 15 years of employment to the Chickasaw Nation, and receiving a clock with name and years of service engraved, were Pat Berna, Tim Postoak, Willarene Amos, Loretta Anoatubby, Lona Barrick, Michael Cully, George Factor and Cindy Bermudez.
Employees honored for 10 years of service received a lapel pin with diamond with the Chickasaw Nation seal in gold. They are Alta Mapp, Darren Clinton, Mel Adair, Barry Gantt, Renee Sweet, Renlyn Roden, Gary Jones, Guy Bartlett, David Battice, Virginia Anderson, Jason Burwell, Richard Carney, Karen Cook, Christy Estes, Richard Henry, Dinah Henson, Deborah Hook, Eddie Postoak, Janet Reubin, Tim Rhynes, Jennifer Romine, Martin Stick, Sonya Tiger, Valerie Underwood, David Walker, Deborah Battice, Lydia Harrison, Sally Hilburn, Imogene Imotichey-Walker, Dana Johnson, Rita Roberts, Alicia Wear, Sandra Zimmerebner, Robert Allison and Sue Ross
