ADA, Okla. -- Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby was joined by Ada Mayor Darrell Nemecek, vice-mayor Donna York, city manager David Hathcoat and a host of other local and tribal officials for ground breaking ceremonies for the Ada West Family Fun Center Wednesday, August 13 at 201 Latta Rd.

Designed to offer entertainment for every age group, the 60,000 square foot facility will include bowling, skating, laser tag, game room, party rooms and food court.

"As the name suggests, this facility was designed with the entire family in mind," said Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby. "With such a wide variety of entertainment options, parents can be sure that everyone, including children, teenagers and adults will have a great time."

Expected to be completed in fall 2004, the project will employ between 90 and 100.

Subsequent development of the site will include a hotel, convention center, restaurant and amphitheater, which are expected to be finished by fall 2005.

Total employment at the site is expected to reach 400.
